I stopped by In-N-Out Burgers for dinner. I ate my dinner in the car and was absolutely amazed at all the local ricers. Sometimes, it makes you wonder what kind of funky taste some peeps have. I wanted to take pics with my digicam but I didn't want to piss any of them off. Obviously there were more of them than me. It was nice though to see other people checking out my car. On my way home though on the freeway, I came upon a C5 vette. He motioned me that he wanted to run, so we both get into the open and he counts down from 3. We were both doing about 55 MPH then he lets loose. I downed it to third and immediately lurched forward. I was able to get about 3 car lengths ahead of him before I slowed down. We went at it 2 more times before we both gave the thumbs up and I exited. I actually expected it to be a closer race. I love my car and the power I have but I expected the Vette to do better. He had a SCCA sticker on it so I assumed he's a good driver. Oh well, that was a good end to a long day. Just wait until I post pics later this Sunday evening. I am picking up something really awesome today.... Hint.... it's got a hairdryer attached to it and runs on 4 pistons.... ;-)
